Families First of Pella held a Book Bash to promote early literacy and family fun on Saturday, March 26. The event was funded by Pella Community Foundation. The Drive-By Book Bash featured an outdoor story time and families got to take home a free board book of Jane Yolen and Mark Teague’s “How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends.” The goodie bag included the book, a salt dough fossil craft, bracelet giveaway craft, game ideas, dinosaur egg recipe, sidewalk chalk for kindness messages, Kindness Bingo and directions for a dinosaur hunt at Pella’s West Market Park.
